This year-long comprehensive program includes:

  • Mat Pilates exercises levels 1-3 + how and when/why to use props

  • Full comprehensive training on the Pilates equipment that includes: The Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Low Chair, Ladder Barrel, Magic Circle, and Spine Corrector

  • Pre + Postnatal Pilates and Special Populations Safety

  • Anatomy specifically for Pilates

  • Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation

  • The Art of Teaching

  • The Business of Pilates

Breakdown of Hours required to complete the program:
150 Observation (in studio or virtual)
250 Practice Teaching
150 Personal Workouts
100 Lessons
60 Lecture Hours (in person)

Advisor Meetings and Exams (these will be scheduled throughout and before graduation)

710 required hours total

Our Training is Different.

 

Native Pilates Teacher trainees gain…

  • Full comprehension of body mechanics and anatomy, in order to teach to the body at hand

  • A deep understanding of the exercises, the Pilates Method, and the art of teaching each exercise successfully led by Owner, CPI Amanda Howard

  • The ability to teach all bodies and special populations (those who are pre- or postnatal, have scoliosis, or are rehabilitating from injury), safely and with confidence

  • In-depth instruction on anatomy, led by Dr. Aimee Bailey, PT and Pelvic Floor Therapist 

  • Full access to the studio for the duration of the program

  • An entire year to dedicate to studying Pilates; these 12-months allow you time to both absorb the information and put it into practice (though some may finish sooner).

  • Eligibility for The National Pilates Certification upon graduation

  • Ability to teach at any Pilates studio upon graduation

  • Flexibility to workout and train in the studio based on your schedule

  • Learn the business of Pilates and how to be a successful Pilates instructor after graduation

  • Liability insurance is required upon beginning the program while practice teaching

 

 

The Details:

  • Investment: $6,500* (Save $500 if paid in full by OCtober 1st)

  • Location: Native Pilates Studio 

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Duration: One year (though some may finish more quickly) 

  • Signup Deadline: TBD

  • $500 non refundable deposit due to hold your spot. Space is limited to 10 trainees.

  • Pay in full by the start date to receive a $500 discount

There will be 4 installments of $1700 due 1 week before each lecture weekend, for a total of $6800. (Your $500 deposit will go towards your first payment).

Lecture weekend Dates

Orientation: TBD- Come ask questions and get more info about the program.

Required in person 4 lecture weekends 9:00am-5:00pm Saturdays and Sundays:

Lecture 1- The history of Pilates, Intro to Pilates, Pre Pilates

Level 1 on all equipment, mat, and anatomy, level 1 on all equipment, mat, and anatomy

Lecture 2- Level 2 on all equipment, mat, and anatomy

Lecture 3- Level 3 on all equipment, mat, and anatomy

Lecture 4- Learn the Art of Teaching, Contraindications + The Business of Pilates
